Introductory to Carpentry with Donnie Brown

This is a basic introduction to carpentry for hobby enthusiasts or someone thinking about a career in carpentry. Participants will learn: 

 

• Shop safety with carpentry tools
• Project layout and drawings 
• Proper use of hand tools, stationary and portable power tools
• Making a cut list 
• Proper sanding, assembling and finishing 

As part of this course, each participant will complete a carpentry project.


When:   January 15 - March 5 (Wednesday evenings)
Time:    6:00 - 9:00 PM

             Safety footwear required
