EPSI to host Christmas Wrapping Party

What is the "Be a Santa to a Senior" Program? 

Christmas is a time of joy – but for many Island seniors it can be a time of loneliness.

To help offset that feeling of isolation, local enterprise Home Instead Senior Care had created the ‘Be a Santa to a Senior’ program. The initiative was designed so that strangers can give a small gift of happiness to a senior living in their own community.

PEI residents could participate in the program by picking up an ornament from Home Instead Christmas trees at Murphy’s pharmacies and other partner organizations across P.E.I. The ornament would include the first name of a senior and their respective gift requests.
