Ideas?
One of the focus areas for East Prince Seniors Initiative is to provide seniors with information about various programs, services and activities available in our area. We are working on a list of topics and presenters for upcoming Community Education Sessions. To date, EPSI has hosted over 175 sessions on many topics, including: health and wellness, general interest, computers and technology, and financial advice. Please feel free to let us know if you have an idea about a topic that we might be able to explore. Email director.epsi@live.ca or give us a call at 888-2177. Thanks!

REMINDER.......REMINDER....... ....REMINDER!!! SEE YOU AT CUP??
Family Service PEI is going to be carrying out a project on "Protecting Yourself Financially As You Age". As part of the project, focus group sessions will be held with seniors to get their input on what resources are required to protect finances as people grow older. EPSI will be hosting one of these focus groups on Tuesday May 20 at 10 a.m. in Room 3 at CUP. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a one-hour conversation about this topic. We hope you will take the time to drop in and have a chat in a group setting. Family Services can use your input on a very important topic! Hope to see you there.

HERE'S SOMETHING TO TAKE NOTICE OF!
PENCIL IN TUESDAY MAY 20 FROM 10 UNTIL 11 A.M. IN ROOM 3 AT CREDIT UNION PLACE.
Ellan Dickieson from Family Service PEI says:
"We need your input! What types of information and resources do seniors need to protect themselves financially as they age? Come participate in a 1 hour focus group sessions with Family Service PEI. This will involve discussion around 5 questions to help them gather information to develop a resource toolkit for PEI residents. The questions are not personal, and you don’t have to be an expert to contribute. Everyone’s opinion is valuable and welcomed. Participants will be provided with $10 to assist them with travel, refreshments provided."
PLEASE CONTACT EPSI AT 888-2177 FOR MORE INFORMATION. This is an excellent way to make your voice heard and to help out a terrific community-centered organization. See you there?
